NATIONAL PARKS SAFARI UGANDA

HIGHLIGHTS, WHERE THEY ARE AND HOW TO VISIT THEM

15 BEST NATIONAL PARKS UGANDA [LIST]

National Parks of Uganda List

Welcome to NATIONAL PARKS WORLDWIDE with the national parks, nature reserves and other protected areas of all countries of the world.  On this page you also find the complete list of Uganda's national parks and protected areas, the six best of which you can actually on our Uganda National Parks Tour. National parks are the prime locations of wild and untamed nature; in many countries they are the most exiting places to visit, if you can find them. Since Kenya has been suffering form unrest, Uganda has become an increasingly interesting alternative for safaris. However, most local tour operators take you to locations away from the national parks. Our National Parks of Uganda Tour, takes you on an epic journey along a representative selection of parks that show you ALL major eco-regions of the country as well as on expeditions to see the both great apes of East Africa, the Mountain Gorillas and the Chimpanzees. Be aware, that while we take you on a fantastic safari, there are ecosystems, where we can't take you because of the difficulty of the terrain and the lack of access roads: the high elevations of Rwenzori Mountains.

Why consider booking our Uganda National Parks Safari? Because for a very competitive price, you focus on the real national parks of Uganda without losing valuable vacation time in less interesting non-protected locations in the countryside. Our tour takes you into 6 parks and reserves, accompanied by a naturalist guide. Composed by our world-renowned national parks expert, Dr. Daan Vreugdenhil, this is the best safari on the market. Destinations Overview: UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the Mountain Gorilla Bwindi Impenetrable National Park  Kibale National Park, Mburo National Park Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's most famous park Queen Elisabeth National Park, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Kampala.

In spite of its many years of unrest, Uganda still enjoys very healthy wildlife stocks and the best Uganda national parks in Africa are among the best in East Africa and it is beyond any doubt Uganda's greatest tourism asset. Although both species of Rhino had been eradicated in the mid 80s, the White Rhinoceros has recently been re-introduced, and once again, one can enjoy Africa's big five: Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Rhinoceros, Lion and Panther.

For their lasting conservation, protected areas need a lot of visitation, something that is lacking in developing countries. In order to promote visitation to national parks, we created this website. The accuracy of our list varies considerably per country and is still incomplete for most countries of the world, but we are continuously working on improving them. As the lack of visitation continues to be one of the prime drawbacks for their conservation, we decided - after long hesitation - to organize national parks tours that are guaranteed to take you to the best national parks of each country, one country at the time. Currently we offer fantastic National Park tours to Ecuador , Peru, Ethiopia India and Uganda.
